I've decided to revive 'Pocket Architect' and start sharing different ideas related to all things design.

First, a little recap of the last year or so since it’s been a while…

Met the love of my life on New Years Eve of 2011. Had the proposal of a lifetime in October 2013, bought our first home in August 2014, and married shortly after on November 1^st, 2014. 

These days we are preparing our home and our hearts for a new little angel due in May of 2016.

New ideas, and a new space…

After replacing a few light fixtures here and there, we hadn’t done much in the way of paint or flooring etc.

Just recently, my husband and I decided to replace the carpet upstairs and parquet/ tile combo on the main level with wood flooring in our semi-detached home – Wohoo! 

After spending last weekend taking all art, frames and mirrors off of the walls and relocating our furniture around – our home was in a whole new light.
